The prairie in bloom

Too busy to write, with summer duties of prairie photography, watching white-tail fawns, enjoying fireworks, fishing with grandkids, cruising on the Mississippi, gardening, star-gazing . . . . you get the idea!

So here’s a sample of what my camera and I have been doing these past weeks!

Doe on alert as hungry fawn nurses just outside our window

RATTLESNAKE . . . master

Liatrus – blazing star

Bees love purple prairie clover

Storm’s a-brewin’

Mississippi River shanty boat

Black-eyed Susan surrounded by partridge pea

Garnavillo parade – a July 4th tradition

Celebrate our natural world!
